2021 edition

The 2021 edition of Uno Sguardo Raro will end on Sunday 17 October with the Award Ceremony. it's time for the Popular Jury, watch the competing shorts and vote for your favorite now!

2020 edition

The 2020 edition of Uno Sguardo Raro yes ended on Monday 28 September with the Awards ceremony. The COVID-19 emergency rightly required the application of all safety and distancing rules for the safety of all. This unfortunately did not allow us to have many of you in the Deluxe Room of Cinema di Roma.

2019 edition

The 2019 edition has witnessed a huge growth of the Festival. The launch took place within Rome Film Festival, where the first press conference of Uno Sguardo Raro was held, in association with Roma Lazio Film Commission.

2018 edition

In 2018, the Festival became an International Festival by publishing a Call for Proposals for awareness-raising videos, Short Films, Docu-films and Very Short Films for young authors, with the firm belief that this was the right way to give visibility to the community of the rare diseases patients.

    THE FESTIVALS

    The first edition of Uno Sguardo Raro took place during the Rare Disease Day, the Day of Rare Diseases 2016 and was organized thanks to the collaboration and support of UNIAMO FIMR onlus. The review was sponsored by Anac - National association of cinematographic authors and 100autori - association of film and television authorship and was held at the Sala Kodak of Cinema di Roma enjoying great success with the public and operators in the sector.     The 2017 edition was held on February 25, again on the occasion of the RDD at the Sala Deluxe in Casa del Cinema di Roma.     In 2018 , the event turned into an International Festival with the publication of a Call for Proposals for Commercials, Short Films, Docu-films and Short Films for young authors, confident that this was the right way to draw attention to the community of rare diseases. More than 900 authors and directors from 140 countries all over the world responded to this first Call for Proposals, and the participation of the public and the Patients’ Associations at the two shows has also confirmed the success of the idea.     The 2019 edition has witnessed a great development of the Festival.
